Casual dress shirts

A shirt is the main accessory of any attire and it is worn on the upper part of the body.

It has a collar, sleeves either half or full and provision for the buttons. Especially in England and United States of America is called as casual dress shirt. There are various types casual dress shirts such as T-shirt, tunic, sweatshirt, Hawaiian shirt and fish net shirt.

Casual dress shirts are worn during normal working hours and there is no dress code for wearing the casual dress shirt.

T-shirt is one of the most popular casual dress shirts without buttons. These casual dress shirts are either with collar or without collar and mostly are short sleeved. The tunic casual dress shirts those are primitive in nature and are available in two pieces. Now days we can find ladies are also are wearing the tunic casual dress shirts in day today activities as a part of fashion. Hawaiian shirts are also considered as casual dress shirts and have various colors along with short sleeves. These shirts are manufactured from lightweight fabrics. These casual dress shirts are also known as tropical shirts. The other form of casual dress shirt is the fish net shirt and is transparent in nature and normally worn by the punks.

A casual dress shirt normally consists of shoulder band or strap, sleeves, a collar, button strap, buttonholes, cuffs and the pockets. Shoulder strap starts from armpit to the upper half of the back and sleeves either half or full is attached to the shoulder strap. In case of full sleeves shirt cuffs along with buttonholes are attached at other end to fasten the cuffs.

The vertical front portion of the shirts has number of button to wrap the shirt to the body. These buttons are engaged in buttonholes for closing the front portion of the casual shirt.

The collar is an important accessory of the casual dress shirt where the ties or the bowties are tied. There are various patterns of collars that are available with the casual dress shirts. Some of the well-known collar patterns are Windsor collar, tab collar, wing collar, straight collar, band collar and turtle neck collars. But some of the casual dress shirts are also available without collars such as T-shirts. Casual dress shits has either one or two pockets on the front side and some of the shirts are without pockets also and it depends on individual choice. But the standard dress shirt has only one pocket to keep the items such a pen, paper or a small diary.

There are mainly three sizes of casual dress shirt for men in case of readymade shirts and they are medium, large and extra large. The normal colors that are favored by most of the men are light blue color, Bengal red stripes and the wine color shirts. While wearing casual dress shirts it is not mandatory to use tie or tuck in the shirt. It is a part of either formal wear or of the casual wear and can be used in evening as a pert of nightdress.

These casual dress shirts are manufactured from either fine woven cotton cloth or from linen or the polyester material. Other materials that are rarely used in manufacturing casual dress shirts are cotton poplin, Oxford cloth, corduroy and the flannel.
