Chef Shirts

The complete uniform of the chefs consists of different pieces of clothing. Normally chefs do not prefer to wear all these pieces. How ever from the last few years the management of the restaurants is insisting on wearing al most all these pieces of clothing. Even though the chefs are not that happy about this, most of the chefs are wearing many of these clothing as they understand the importance of being in complete chef’s uniform.

The management of the restaurants is seeing the chef’s uniform as a way in which they can show case the style and richness of their restaurants to their customers and also to their competitors. Hence most of them are even appointing some highly professional designers to design the complete chef’s uniform even by paying some huge amounts.

Even though people do not think very seriously about the chef’s shirts, as it will be covered all day long with chef coat or apron or some other piece of cloth; one should take enough interest on it. Because, if the chef shirt is not properly made or if the fabric does not suit chef then he will certainly feel uncomfortable while working which in turn will decrease the productivity and the quality of work that is done by the chef. Hence enough care must be taken about the chef’s shirt as well along with the other pieces f clothing of the chef’s uniform.

The most popular fabric that will be used to make the chef’s shirt is cotton. Linen fabric is also been popularly used. How ever the cotton fabric dominates the segment as it is light weighted and as it also absorbs sweat very well. Now days, some chefs are trying with some other fabrics also.
